HOW WE CAN HELP

What we do

An insurance broker carries a wide set of FCA obligations for its size: sales and disclosure under ICOBS, product governance and fair value under PROD 4, the Consumer Duty, claims and complaints, client money under CASS 5, financial crime, SM&CR, and twice-yearly returns. Since 9 December 2025 several of those rules ask the firm to set and justify its own standard, from product review frequency to staff training, which means more judgement and more evidence.

We run that work with your team on a fixed plan. We build a risk-based monitoring plan, review sales and claims files, assess remuneration against fair value, test client money reconciliations, maintain the training and competence framework, check complaints handling and prepare the RMAR and complaints returns. Every finding is rated and tracked to closure, and the results reach your board in one report alongside the Consumer Duty outcomes review. Our [broker compliance checklist](/insights/insurance-broker-compliance-checklist-2026) shows the full scope.

We are an advisory firm: your senior managers keep their responsibilities, and we give them the evidence and support to discharge them. When the rules change, as they will again when the FCA finalises CP26/22 and CP26/23, we turn each change into specific updates to your procedures and documents. Our [rule change tracker](/insights/fca-insurance-rule-changes-tracker-2026) follows every paper.
